Interesting, looks already good so far man May I ask which software you are using? Besides, are you also planning to texture it for wicked details, for example with Mudbox / Zbrush? That would be cool
This is Cinema 4D I'm using, which is the only 3D software I'd consider myself to be good at so far...
I've got max and the other Autodesk fellows as student versions and currently try to find my way there, but as always, it's a matter of time. Lots of time...
Ahaa I see I never used that actually, does that programm has certain advantages compared to other programms like 3Ds Max and Maya?
Well yeah, getting used to these programms takes a while, thats something for sure^^ We had lessons at school but I learn most of it by myself. At least, for 3Ds Max. For Maya I followed the lessons Good luck getting some more comfortable with these programms mate
Basically, you can do everything with Cinema you can also achieve with Max or Maya, but to be honest, in my opinion, you get better results using either of these than using Cinema. There is no huge lack of quality, but I'd say works done in Cinema are slightly less awesome...
I don't know for sure, but I think here in Germany, many people use it, but it's not so well known in the USA.
I see, so the possibilities are pretty much the same, but the workflow isn't that great at some times, correct?^^ That's what I had when switching from Max to Maya, Maya has some functions which boost up the workflow
Ah ok, well here in the Netherlands only those who are into 3D know about Cinema, while for Max or Maya also other people have heard about it which are not extremely into 3D. As I heard from other, Maya is the most popular here, while Max is more being used for architectural and interior designs.
